Groups tours of Rodd Court

Please note: We are currently closed and not taking bookings for Tours this summer, but hope to resume in the foreseeable future

In August 2018, The Sidney Nolan Trust acquired Rodd Court, a 16th-century Grade II* listed Jacobean manor house located on our estate, which was the last home of Sir Sidney Nolan. It is a remarkable, relatively untouched example of 16th-century architecture and we would like to give local groups the chance to visit Rodd Court via a guided group tour led by architectural historian, Duncan James. This tour will explore the history of the building, showcasing its unique elements and unusual talking points.

We would ask for a minimum of 10 participants, and we charge £15 each, which includes the tour, hot drinks, cakes and then access to our gallery and grounds. A tour lasts roughly 2 hours, with time, at the end, to visit our gallery and explore other areas for our site, including our woodland and gardens. We can customise our tours to suit the needs of your group, for example, if you’re interested in gardens our gardener can take you on a tour of our ancient apple orchards. Timings and dates are flexible.

If you would be interested in visiting us and booking a tour for your group please email or call us on 01544 260149 for more details.
