MAKE
MAKE is a weekly arts club for young people aged 7 - 11 . Together we create artwork using traditional media, through to photography and animation. The weekly sessions are FREE to attend.
MAKE Art Club is a safe and supportive space where young people can explore their creativity, develop ideas, and build confidence through making. The club offers a wide range of activities, from painting and drawing to animation, photography, and sculpture, encouraging experimentation with different themes and processes. Participants are supported to have fun, learn new skills, and develop their own creative interests.
Led by experienced local artists Sophie Ferrier and Olivia Mabey, the programme is shaped both by the group’s input and the artists’ own practices, which are rooted in an interest in nature and regenerative processes.
The club meets weekly from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at The Old School Building (Youth Centre) on Hereford Street, Presteigne.
