EARTH PHOTO 2024
This annual photography and moving image competition seeks to illuminate the beauty and fragility of our planet and draws thousands of entries from 60 countries and shares powerful stories about climate change and biodiversity collapse.
A distinguished panel of judges, including renowned environmentalists, photographers, and curators, meticulously selected finalists. Prize-winners were announced at a special ceremony at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London.
The Earth Photo exhibition at The Sidney Nolan Trust presents work by 30 of the shortlisted photographers and prize-winners, as well as films from the moving image category. The photographs are uniquely displayed outdoors at a large scale in the orchard. This much-anticipated exhibition makes an impact with a powerful blend of artistry and environmental advocacy.
Sophie Heath, Director of the Sidney Nolan Trust says “We are delighted to be working with national partners and supporting artists to present these two exhibitions that are important creative responses to our world and locality and focus us on the beauty, preciousness and history of our environment.”
