New Job and Consultancy Opportunities for our Project 'Transforming the Sidney Nolan Trust'
Enabled by funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund
We are delighted to offer several new job and consultancy opportunities with the support of a significant grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund in order to develop a masterplan for a vibrant and resilient future.
This transformational funding will enable strategic planning, audience consultation, building surveys and pilot activities delivered over 12 months from June 2025. Together these will feed into a masterplan shaped to increase access and audience engagement and realise the potential of the historic, environmental and cultural significance of the Trust's two sites in the Welsh Marches.

We are looking for:
Masterplanning Consultant to develop a comprehensive 15-year masterplan for the development of the Trust, its two sites, and audiences. This work will include audience and stakeholder consultation, market analysis, options appraisals for varied site development and future use potential and development of a business case and feasibility report including costed financial modelling.
Candidates will have experience of significant heritage projects funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund including capital development, heritage restoration, and working with sites with environmental/landscape dimensions. You should be skilled in managing complex multi-faceted projects, change management and working with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.

Download the Recruitment PackFundraising Development Consultant to develop a fundraising strategy to support the development of the organisation and its sites and build longterm sustainability. This will include designing and implementing a fundraising strategy across sector funders, individuals and businesses aligned to the masterplanning process, developing a case for support, bidwriting and supporting development activities and events.
Candidates will have a proven track record of fundraising in the heritage and culture sector including successful grant applications and securing match funding for capital redevelopment projects. You will have significant experience of strategic fundraising campaigns including successful legacy/endowment campaigns and be skilled in working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Download the Recruitment PackProject Delivery Coordinator to provide project management, administration, and delivery support across all strands of the project activity. The role includes contractor liaison and management, working with the project team to plan, coordinate and deliver of pilot engagement activities and audience consultation, tracking key performance indicators including budget monitoring, and reporting to the project team and Heritage Fund.
Candidates should have extensive project management and delivery experience including administration, reporting and public-facing engagement and consultation. You will be proactive and self-directed, a confident and effective communicator and bring skills in budget management and marketing.

Download the Recruitment PackEvaluation Consultant to plan, lead and support delivery of the evaluation of the project from the beginning through to completion. The evaluation brief includes devising tools to effectively monitor the project activities in line with Heritage Fund requirements, leading on the collection of baseline and summative data and producing mid-term and final evaluation reports.
Candidates will be experienced in evaluating the delivery of heritage projects funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund including audience consultation, fundraising, change management and masterplanning. You will be confident leading on evaluation and designing and applying models and tools to monitor outcomes across the heritage and environment strands of activity.

You'll be part of a dynamic and hardworking team supported by a committed group of volunteers.
Candidates will have experience of working or volunteering directly with the public, have excellent customer service skills and be motivated to get involved across the range of our activities from heritage to environment. You will need to be available to work on weekends and be able to travel to our rural location independently.
